Reflection
Working with LaGrange Leather taught me that a lasting brand is built on story, values, and craftsmanship rather than a single person. As a heritage brand with a hard-working soul, LaGrange balances tradition and modernity. Learning the brand’s history, especially how it lost momentum after the passing of an owner and the business was left without a clear identity, showed me how fragile brands can be when they are tied too closely to one individual. Through this experience, I learned the importance of creating a brand rooted in narrative and shared purpose, using elements like rich leather tones, tailored typography, and subtle textures to reflect quality and longevity. Ultimately, LaGrange showed me how to build something that honors its past while remaining relevant, resilient, and able to last for generations.
